Preble County Snow Emergency Level elevated

Use caution while driving

Effective at 3:15 p.m. today, Sheriff Mike Simpson has increased the snow emergency to LEVEL 2 for Preble County.
A level two snow emergency means that roadways are hazardous due to increasing amounts of snow on roadways. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. People should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Obviously, if you are driving, use extreme caution.
All roadways in Preble County are currently open and road crews are continuing to plow and treat the roads, and will do so throughout the night.
