Join us in Downtown Eaton as we welcome the holiday season with the cherished White Christmas celebration on Friday, November 29, from 5-8 p.m. on Main Street and around the Preble County Courthouse square.
This beloved tradition brings the community together for an evening of festive fun and holiday cheer. The event will feature our much-anticipated parade with the arrival of Santa (at 6 p.m.), followed by live performances from the Eaton High School Marching Band and the East Elementary 2nd Graders.
As always, guests can enjoy complimentary keepsake ornaments, hot cocoa, and more.
Two lucky children will win bicycles donated by Vancrest Health Care, Dave Kirsch with Ownerland Realty and Skyline Chili.
Make sure to study up on the lyrics to “White Christmas,” so you can join in on the traditional singalong! The highlight of the evening will be the official Christmas tree lighting, with the tree generously donated by Community of Faith Eaton.
Following the tree lighting, families are invited to stop by Blu Sky’s Café for a visit with Santa himself!
Hot cocoa and more will be available all evening at Blu Sky’s.
New this year is an exciting addition for everyone to enjoy: Iceless Ice Skating on Main Street! Don’t miss the chance to skate under the holiday lights in this unique and fun activity. Iceless ice skating will be available from 5-8 p.m. Iceless Ice Skating is sponsored by Bassett Services, Bridge Credit Union, and City of Eaton Parks and Recreation.
Smoke Nation BBQ will be downtown as well, serving up dinner for anyone hungry. Good Medicine Ohio and Schinotech are hosting a Merry Christmas Gift Shop for children to shop for their families downtown from 5-8 p.m., and new downtown business, 25th Century Toys, will be open as well, and giving away free toy inspired ornaments while supplies last!
We look forward to celebrating the joy of the season with our community.
Bring your family, friends, and holiday spirit for a magical evening in Downtown Eaton, and then enjoy a drive through Fort St. Clair’s Whispering Christmas spectacular light display to close out the evening!
