Eaton Swimming Pool

The Eaton Swimming Pool was built in 1964 with funds raised by the Eaton Community  Swim Association.  In 1991, the pool facility was gifted to the City of Eaton. The City completed several maintenance and upgrade projects over the years, but by 2015, the pool had reached the end of its useful life.  A generous, anonymous donor stepped forward and offered a completely new pool complex.  Beginning in late summer 2015, and over the following winter and spring, demolition and then construction continued on a new bathhouse and pool.

On Friday, May 27, 2016, citizens were welcomed to the grand opening of the Main Street Aquatic Center. Main Street Aquatic Center features a splash pad, pool with slides, a shelter and picnic tables. The Preble County YMCA is contracted to manage the center, and currently operates the concession stand.
